Inside Post challenge

Lost among the hoopla of future wagers, Road to the Roses, WinStar Fantasy Derby, and a host of other contests, fantasy leagues, etc. is the Thoroughbred Times Inside Post Challenge, which for the seventh consecutive year offers readers the chance to handicap key prep races on the Road to the Triple Crown and win fabulous prizes for doing so.
This year's grand prize is a pair of tickets for each day of the Breeders' Cup World Championships November 4-5 at Churchill Downs. I'm not eligible for such delights, of course, but the satisfaction of picking winners publicly is only matched by cashing tickets privately.
This year's Inside Post Challenge begins with the Fountain of Youth Stakes at Gulfstream Park, so register and get your picks in to be on your way to the Breeders' Cup via the Triple Crown!
On the Inside Post Challenge video with Thoroughbred Times Managing Editor Tom Law, I gave out Shackleford, but upon further review, I'm making Gourmet Dinner my pick for the win.
I do not like To Honor And Serve either today or for the Derby. I've made good money (or at least didn't lose bad money) betting against/not betting Remsen winners, and until one of them really jumps to make some noise as a three-year-old, I'll continue to go against them.
Sure, Mucho Macho Man looked OK winning the Risen Star and was second to To Honor And Serve twice last year, but that's no excuse for even money or worse tomorrow.
