The rest of my team is Mendip, Indian Firewater, Classical Slew, Liston, Raging Wit, and our jockey is Robby Albarado.
Given that we didn't have a top ten pick and only two picks in the top 41 (out of 150), I'm fairly happy with our squad. I think Mendip was a nice pick at 72, and it sounds like McLaughlin is high enough on Liston that he was clearly worth it at 132, and I like that our eighth and tenth picks are at least entered in a scoring race right off the rip.
Update after San Vicente: I was excited when Raging Wit was taking ridiculous kinds of money but less excited when he didn't run a step. I think Classical Slew ran OK off the layoff, making a decent middle move and clearly not going to catch runaway Sidney's Candy, a horse my team could have had in round four but didn't take. Here's hoping Backtalk doesn't make us lament that decision.
