Well, back to the drawing board to find this year's Derby winner, but it will very likely be someone else's board since there aren't many sleepers in my crowd by this point.
Tiz Brian never engaged the leaders and didn't show a lot of heart when asked for run between horses and near the rail as the race came to a close.
With my Derby dreams done for another year, it's time to focus on finding this year's Jaipur winner.

But seriously, I wouldn't count out any Asmussen maidens off a freshening. It's difficult to appraise what kind of quality was in this field, but I'm not throwing this one out the window.
Should Tiz Brian come off the shelf in 25 days I'd give a second look, especially if there is a blinker change involved. I think this horse likes to ramble on the front and today he was taken into the garden spot to learn new tricks.
Proper tactics suited to the horse is vital to success. Keep the faith!
